We are looking for an outgoing and energetic Outside Sales team player to represent our Company in the territory of Denver, Colorado. This person will develop the territory using Phoenix Metals products, services, and core values to increase the company’s presence in the market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop a complete understanding of company capabilities and core values to maximize company’s market share.

· Develop relationships with customers on a daily basis to gain repeat business.

· Manage special inventory of contract customers.

· Call on current and new accounts

· Cold-calling Required

· Time Management

· Strong Negotiator

· MS OFFICE, CRM & Phoenix ERP use to maximize sales.

· Develop vendor database for buyout opportunities. Buyouts defined as products that are standard items and those that do not have corresponding price pages. Inside sales must independently source material and set price to maximize profit opportunity.

· Responsible for generating sales through callouts and internet prospecting.

· Ability to establish and cultivate the territory.

· Independently price products to maximize sales as defined by customer, product, and availability.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years in Outside Sales, emphasis in metals background
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
• Video conferencing skills
• Excellent planning and organizational skills; able to set priorities and schedule activities effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks and responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication capabilities

Some overnight travel is to be expected.
